  15. To my knowledge alpha interferon is the only treatment for hepatitis
  16. caused by hepatitis B or C. It is far from a "cure" however.

  20. Some got it from transfusion, some from using IV drugs and
  21. sharing needles. The plurality of infected persons got HCV
  22. via an "unknown" route. To many of us, that implies sexual
  23. spread but in most cases sexual spread is hard to demostrate
  24. prospectively.
