If you don't get relief from your doctor's appointment tomorrow, try
calling the Vestibular Disorders Assocation in Portlant Oregon. Their number is (503) 229-7705. Vestibular (relating to the inner-ear) disorders are very
common but getting a diagnosis can be a major hassle...I should know, I've
had the problem for almost 7 years now! Anyway the Vestibular Disorders Assoc.,
also known as VEDA, has a large variety of support and information. They
can refer you to support groups for people with inner-ear disorders, they
can send you published materials, and they can help refer you to specialists.
It looks like you're in the Santa Cruz area. If so, you may want to call
the California Ear Institute in Palo Alto. They are located near
Stanford Hospital.
