  34. I have this problem with spider bites.  It was the bane of my childhood
  35. because every summer I got sent home from camp with my eyes swollen shut,
  36. my lips swollen to grandiose proportions, and needing hospital intervention
  37. to help me breathe.  I am also allergic to every other type of insect bite,
  38. such as fleas, mosquitos, etc.  With the spider bites I learned as an adult
  39. to ALWAYS put on insect repellent before I go to bed.  Since I am pregnant,
  40. I can't do this, and of course I have had 2 spider bites this week, both
  41. in my right arm which is now swollen, and to make matters worse, Mrs Spider
  42. laid her eggs in my bedroom and the other night there were about 50
  43. baby spiders rappelling off my ceiling.  I got out the vacuum and sucked
  44. them up!  It felt great.

  46. I don't think there is anything you can do to prevent spider bites save
  47. use repellant, mosquito netting, and learn the quickest route to the
  48. emergency room.
