  20. When I was growing up in Los Angeles, two or three times
  21. a year we would drive to Louisiana to visit my Grandmother.
  22. My brother and I would sit in the back seat and my mother
  23. would periodically hand back "treats".  The one I remember
  24. most fondly is the fried pork rinds.  I rarely eat them now,
  25. but more because I find the salt level too intense.  I guess
  26. it all depends on how you were raised.
