- Theorist is very different from Maple and Mathematica. Essentially, it doesn't
- do much work for you but helps you to do the work itself. A theorist "notebook"
- consists essentially of transformation/simplification/expansion rules that you
- can define. On request it will aply these rules to parts of your equations.
- Moreover, it has very good graphing abilities and some calculation abilities.
- Of course it includes such things as factoring polynomials etc.

- I like this programme since I can let it do whatever I want (nearly), which is
- quite important since many of my calculations take place in strange structures
- (squags, SQS-skeins,...)

- memory but can be used in 1Meg.
