  13. Three different ways were suggested:

  15. a) matrix formulation
  16. b) solve difference equation
  17. c) using generating series
  18.  
  19. They all worked, although a,b were straightforward, c) complicated but
  20. mathimatically brilliant.

  22. I wonder how I forgot all my math tricks (haven't touched it for > 8 years!)
