  16.     in either (A) Materials Chemsirty or (B)
  17.     Charcterization, structure-properties of
  18.     ceramic materials using electron microscopy.
  19.  
  20.     Strong academic record is necessary. If your
  21.     background is in either Chemistry (i.e
  22.     inorganic or organic) or in traditional
  23.     materials science of ceramics for 
  24.     electronics, that will be an asset.
