  29.    of the rather offensive rhetoric I sometimes encounter there (examples
  30.    to follow from the paper itself) and especially from the fact that
  31.    some (many, even at times perhaps most?) of the GB crowd seem to pay
  32.    no attention at all to work done in other frameworks. The content of
  33.    the proceedings of NELS can be compared with that of CLS or BLS or
  34.    ESCOL, and the reader can judge. Not to mention the content of LI
