- A couple of comments on the above response in regards to location of events
- and references to funnel clouds.

- If memory serves me correctly references to funnel clouds are not suppose
- to be included in statements (and the same for 'hook echo') or warnings.
- Many people think they see wall clouds, funnels and/or tornadoes when
- they really aren't (as has been mentioned many times before).

- One method used for the communication of storm data between the public/CD
- /police/etc to the NWS is NAWAS. All to often a warning point will call
- a WSO or WSFO to relay information that they have received. The NWS will
- ask for specifics that the warning point does not have because they
- didn't ask or were not told the information.
