  33.    I see the threat of global warming as an "additional motivation" to clean
  34.    up some dirty technologies.  If pollution and foreign energy dependence
  35.    are not enough, maybe this risk will be enough to convince some people
  36.    that renewables, efficiency and conservation should be pursued.  The
  37.    only problem with Russell Trains statement is if he hides his other
  38.    reasons.  If he is open about them, then I see no problem with his
  39.    statement.

  47. changes or his other reasons.

  49. Of course, this may have been mere bombast.  Aside from imposing
  50. substantial costs on the economy, there haven't been any fundamental
  51. changes.
