- I see the threat of global warming as an "additional motivation" to clean
- up some dirty technologies. If pollution and foreign energy dependence
- are not enough, maybe this risk will be enough to convince some people
- that renewables, efficiency and conservation should be pursued. The
- only problem with Russell Trains statement is if he hides his other
- reasons. If he is open about them, then I see no problem with his
- statement.

- substantial costs on the economy, there haven't been any fundamental
