- And that, as near as I've been able to tell, is one of the reason for the
- traffic jams on Los Angeles freeways. Seems like half the cars on the highway
- are moving between lanes either after getting on the freeway or in order to get
- off of it. I've seen highways back east with comparable numbers of cars on
- them, though it was a bit difficult to count them, since the cars on the
- highways back east were actually moving.
