- An even worse problem with coal burning is what to do with the clinkers when
- your done. A lump of coal when burned pops like pop-corn producing a clinker
- that is about twice the volumne of the original lump. The waste problem from
- coal is easily a order of magitude bigger then that from fission plants as
- nuc waste is no worse then the original oar after about 300 years but the
- clinker last forever.
