  22. An even worse problem with coal burning is what to do with the clinkers when 
  23. your done.  A lump of coal when burned pops like pop-corn producing a clinker
  24. that is about twice the volumne of the original lump.  The waste problem from
  25. coal is easily a order of magitude bigger then that from fission plants as 
  26. nuc waste is no worse then the original oar after about 300 years but the
  27. clinker last forever.
