- Hello,
-
- I am looking for manufacturers who sell what are variously called
- positioning arms, suspension arms, or tool support arms. These often look
- like the "dumb" part of a robot arm. The most common application we might
- all be familiar with is the dentists tool positioning arm which contains
- vacuum/water lines, and drill power cabling and control. The dentist can
- conveniently pull in his tool tray or move it out of the way as
- circumstance require. I am interested in suspension arms which could
- carry cabling internally. So far I have learned of:
- (1) Rose Enclosures (Frederick. MD) - suspension arm system
- (2) McMaster-Carr Supply Company (Los Angeles, CA) - tool and extension
- arm systems
- Does anybody know of any others? Thanks in advance for your help.
-
- Cheers,
- Kevin
