- With our knowledge base constantly expanding along with the list
- of dangerous substances, exactly what is the problem associated
- with cadmium, or let's discuss a specific problem:
-
- Electronic components manufactured through the 50's and well
- into the 60's were cadmium plated for some reason. With age,
- those components are found to be covered with a fine white
- dusty material which I assume is Cadmium Oxide or something
- similar. Is this substance dangerous? How can it be removed
- safely?
