  10. With our knowledge base constantly expanding along with the list
  11. of dangerous substances, exactly what is the problem associated
  12. with cadmium, or let's discuss a specific problem:

  14. Electronic components manufactured through the 50's and well
  15. into the 60's were cadmium plated for some reason.  With age,
  16. those components are found to be covered with a fine white
  17. dusty material which I assume is Cadmium Oxide or something
  18. similar.  Is this substance dangerous?  How can it be removed
  19. safely?
