- We're having problems with the serial port on a 8031. We're programming the
- serial port in mode 1, frame of 8 bits, taking the baud rate from the chip
- clock (3.6864 MHz) and dividing it by Timer1. Unfortunately, the baud rate
- of the transmitted characters never changes no matter what value we put in
- the hi byte of Timer1, TH1. The baud rate that we receive is about 14,700
- baud. Anyone have any ideas as to what may be going on?
