- How's your budget? :-) The IDEAL part is the HTIL311 display from
- Texas Instruments. Inside the packeage are: a four bit latch (tristate),
- BCD to display converter, LED drivers, and a 5 X 7 matrix of LEDs.
- Apply BCD data to the input pins, pulse the DV ( data valid ) pin, and
- presto, hex code shows up on the display.

- I'm using these in a DTMF project I'm working on. Unfortunatly the
- last time I dared to ask they cost about $13 each, but still a cool part.
