- Yes, Polygram recently issued a promo-only CD single that features music
- on both sides (one side features a track from A Man Called (E); the second
- side features a track from Shakespeare's Sister). The minimal information
- printed on the CD is confined to the blank space around the spindal hole.
- I'm not sure how they manufactured it.
-
- This isn't the first time Polygram has taken an offbeat road to promote
- their artists. Around 1980, they issued a couple of promo-only samplers
- (vinyl LP's) that played from the inside-out (more recently, Capitol took
- the same route and issued a 12" EP by the group School of Fish that played
- from the inside out).
