  12.  I am not sure.  Once, I had CMOS memory totally erased after going
  13.  through airport X-ray.  This was on an HP Portable Plus laptop where
  14.  CMOS memory is used for the "C" drive.  Maybe my battery was low since
  15.  I have not been able to duplicate this.  Also, BESIDES CMOS, what
  16.  about FLASH memory on the new laptops...
