  11. Hello all, I have a quick question.  I've been away and busy lately, and 
  12. fear I may have missed some important news.
  13.   Has the FCC (USA) finally picked an HDTV standard?  I read an article 
  14. in the LA times hinting at that fact, but the use of language was unclear 
  15. (it said that the US would not use Japan's standard).  Does this mean we 
  16. have made our decision?   If so, which company's standard won out, and do 
  17. you have any information on it?
