- According to my CDROM handbook that describes the audio format. (based on the
- yellow book) Brian Bechtel says:

- "An audio CD contains up to 74 minutes of sound. ( by decreasing the
- inter-track gap and other tricks you can put more than 74 minutes of sound
- on a cd. Doing this is only marginally within the standard. Such CD's may
- not be playable on all drives)."

- Probably the maximum is 99 minutes 59 seconds 74 blocks and 97 frames since
- the tracking system is limited to finding something on the disk in that range.
