- I have a panasonic SL-NP1A portable CD player. I would
- like to use rechargeable batteries with it. Panasonic would
- like me to use their battery packs (which cost $$$). I am
- trying to use regular AA nicads instead. I believe the battery
- packs have a current limiting resistor in them in addition
- to the batteries. To determine the value of the resistor I measured
- the output of the AC adapter and was suprised to find out the
- voltage is 5.35v (the adapter itself reads 3v). Does anybody
- know why this is? Also will just installing a resistor
- (between the batteries and the charging connection in the battery
- holder) work? Any information will be helpful!
