- It's not unknown for a high quality commercial CD to be copied through
- the analog outputs and used as the master for a low cost CD. This is
- possible mainly because the actual cost of a CD is much much less than
- the selling price. If you do not have to pay production costs, you can
- obtain 10,000 CDs, complete with booklet and jewel box, for about
- $13,000.
