- I have a 12VAC Halogen desk lamp that loves to flicker and dim a lot.
-
- I recently opened up the base which had a 110<->12VAC transformer, a three-way
- rocker switch (it has two brightness levels, and off)
-
- The secondary outputs go either center tapped, for dim or full(?) tapped for
- brighter.
-
- I'm wondering if there's a capacitor/choke/coil combination or AC line
- regulator for the low-voltage AC side.
-
- Any info on usage, sources, or helpful hints would be great.
