- When I was in 7th grade or so, I used to (illegally) ride my
- minibike on the street, on my way down to the canyon, where
- it *was* legal to ride it. Whenever I saw a cop, I'd flip the
- kill-lever over to the spark plug, which killed the engine. I
- figured it was OK to "coast" on an unpowered minibike. Well, one
- time, I saw a cop and when I reached down, I grabbed the top of the
- spark plug, not the grounded thing. BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM right
- into my fingers and right up past my elbow. I didn't wreck, but
- watching the cop laughing at me (he must have figured out
- what happened) added insult to injury.
-
- He didn't stop me.
-
- I didn't do it again.
