- Hi everybody!
-
- I am working on a project where a 20 Bit counter would be a great thing
- to have.
-
- Does such a beast exist?
-
- What I would like to be able to do is increment/decrement the counter
- by putting a pulse on a pin and sending the resulting 20 bit number to
- 20 pins.
-
- What I am trying to do is access 1 MByte of memory with a micro-controller.
- Since the controller only can access 64K I figured I could use a 20 bit
- counter. I will only be accessing the memory sequentially anyway, so the
- counter bit would work perfectly..
-
- BTW: If a 20 Bit counter does not exist, how would one go about building one?
-
- THank you.
