- I have never really had any seriously large electrical shocks, but I had a very
- scary shock when I was about 14. No one was home and I was in the kitchen. I
- had been washing my hands and while holding onto the faucet pipe, I started to
- open the fridge- The wall current decided that I was a great path to the earth
- and I stood there jiggling. All these awful thoughts were running through my
- head... like 'am I gonna have a heart problem here soon?'.. and 'why isn't
- there anyone home?'. I was grasping both the faucet and the fridge and the
- pulses were of course screwing with my motor skills- I couldn't let go at all..
- so I stood there and thought morbid thoughts for a bit and jiggled.. I somehow
- managed to wrench myself free (I don't know how, I think I was falling
- backwards.) and I sort of slumped against the counter behind me. I don't trust
- large cooling devices to this day. I don't think I have any scars, but I felt
- very week for about an hour.
