  23. The aim of BIOBALT-92 is to provide close scientific and business
  24. contacts between the biotechnology specialists from the Baltic
  25. States and other European countries. BIOBALT-92 should promote the
  26. integraton of Baltics into the European community and market economy.
  27. High-technology based programmes are vital for research and development
  28. of economy in the Baltic States.The Biobalt'92 should help  to prepare
  29. and conclude contacts for marketing bioproducts both in the Baltics and
  30. in other European countries.  The Baltic side is willing to take part in
  31. R&D projects on contract basis and launch new production units here.

  35. food and agriculture
  36. environment and anaysis
  37. intellectual property, education and business.
  38. Lectures and posters will cover all the major activities in the field
