- Hello all,
-
- is there anybody who know just HOW the SETI searches for signals? I mean,
- which stars do they scan, clusters, galaxies and so on? Which frequenses do
- they scan? How do they analyse the "noice" they get? Is there any FTP-site
- which have stored "noice" for public to take a look at? Maybe there are some
- good references around??
-
- I read "The Physical Universe -- An Introduction to Astronomy" by Frank H.
- Shu, but it just "gobbles" a lot with not much fact. Also, I read "Exploration
- of The Universe" by George O. Abell, David Morrison and Sidney C. Wolff, but
- the same with that -- no "deeper" fact about SETI. So, if there is any better
- references I'd appreciate it very much!
