- My observations of Nova Cygni made last night agree well with David
- Oesper. Using my 3 inch f6 newtonian, I estimated the nova on 21 July
- at 02:30 UT to be 8.4 magnitude. As mentioned before, the light curve
- for this star looks very much like that of Nova Herculis 1963.
