- There have been several posts lately about mysterious knee pains. I had
- a pain similar to what was described in those posts that seemed to occur
- only when I ran. I believe what caused those pains was two non-running
- habits: (1) Crossing my legs so that the crossing leg pushed the painful
- knee to the inside, and (2) Putting the foot of the hurt leg on a desk,
- for example, while sitting with the knee unsupported. When I quit doing
- these two things and waited a week or so for the knee to heal, the pain
- went away and has not returned although I do feel a twinge now and then if I go
- back to those old habits.
