- An 8K is just short of five miles. As far as the times go, it depends on the
- competition of course. I don't know what the running scene at Purdue is, but
- if it's competitive, look for the top 10% in under 30 minutes. Figure about
- an hour for all the runners to come in. If it's a fun run, with no prizes for
- place, expect slower times.
