  22. Yes, the two parks are only about an hour apart, with Busch Gardens being
  23. southeast of KD.

  25. KD has far more coasters than BG.  These include the Rebel Yell (wood racer;
  26. new for this year, the Rebel Yell has one train operating backward), the
  27. Grizzly (another wooden coaster), the Shockwave stand-up, the Anaconda
  28. (multi-element steel), and the Avalanche Bobsled.  Also to be included
  29. is the Scooby-Doo kiddy coaster.  The woodies are great, but the Shockwave
  30. doesn't impress me.  I haven't been on the two newest coasters, but my
  31. friends and sibling who've been on the Anaconda and the bobsled haven't
  32. been overly thrilled.

  34. Busch Gardens, on the other hand, only has 3 coasters--the classic Loch Ness
  35. Monster (two inversions, fun drop), the Big Bad Wolf (one of the better
  36. suspended coasters) and the new Drachen Fire.  I've always been a bit bored
  37. by the Loch Ness Monster.  The theming is pretty good, but the ride is just
  38. a bit lacking.  The Big Bad Wolf is spectacular.  One of my favorite coasters.
  39. Incredible theming on an intense ride.  There's nothing like the front seat
  40. on a suspended coaster!  The Drachen Fire is a fairly brutal ride; very
  41. impressive.  The only thing lacking is a serious drop, and that doesn't
  42. detract from it.

  44. Deciding which park to visit will depend on your tastes.  If you prefer
  45. wooden coasters to steel, KD is the only way to go.  On the other hand
  46. BG as a park is much more pleasant than KD.
