- So how big was this rocket??? The largest thing I know of to date is a
- 12-inch scale (1:1) Patriot missile, powered by 3 RMS I's and 3 RMS K's.
- Takeoff weight was about 150 lb. Launch pad - I don't know. The vehicle
- was not entirely successful--it had a radio backup ejection system that
- fired prematurely right near the end of motor burn. Lots of pieces came
- down on 'chutes, and there was only minimal damage.
