- ACE RC Inc makes a product called the "Noise Trap". It is available at all
- good hobby stores (either as a kit, or assembled). It is intended as a
- filter to protect RF from entering the receiver via the long servo leads.
-
- I have used Noise Traps without problems. I have had an occassional airleron
- servo buzz and hum when the transmitter is very close to it. However,
- moving the TX antenna away stopped the buzz.
-
- Someone was marketing ferrite doughnuts for use as low-pass filters to
- block RF signals on long servo leads several years ago. Haven't seen them
- in quite some time. Perhaps someone else can remember the manufacturer.
