- Too late :-( Wrecked it on the third day out...
-
- Fortunately I was having so much fun when it happenned that I didn't
- have to shoot myself for it :-). I was getting board with hover and I
- need practice on the landings, so I was flying in a square (sort of...)
- and landing at each vertex. I'd been around 5 or 6 times when something
- happenned (I'm still not sure what...) and pieces started flying when I
- landed...and it wasn't even a panic landing...
- (Actually, I only lost the tips of the rotors and bent the boom.)
-
- Moral: Keep that rotor speed up, even when you want the chopper to go
- down. I think if I had done this, the rotors would have held themselves
- up and stayed away from the boom.
