- Are there currently any slope flyers working in the Palo Alto area who
- fun-fly on their lunch breaks?
-
- About six years ago now, I used to see tiny specs floating around the
- vicinity of Coyote Hill drive in Palo Alto around lunch time. I finally
- figured out that the "specs" in the sky were actually people flying
- slope on their lunch breaks. I wasn't into the hobby yet back then so I
- never showed up there, although I always thought it was neat.
-
- Well, now I'm into the hobby but no longer see slopers out there any
- more. I was wondering if these people moved to another site or if
- anyone reading this had any interest in this sort of thing.
-
- I posted this here in hopes that perhaps someone who used to fly back
- then, or is interested now, might respond. I apologize for wasting
- bandwidth outside the PA area, but I still don't know how to limit the
- range of postings.
