- Metallic lithium is dangerous because it will spontaneously
- burn. A friend told me about some HUGE (semi-trailer size)
- lithium batteries the Navy played around with. Problem was
- they'd often blow up. As for its poisonous qualities I can't
- say, but Lithium salts are supposedly given as calming agents
- to psychiatric patients, so it can't be _that_ poisonous.
