- To add some r.m.c content to this article - I used to have a Drifter II that
- somehow I managed to build well. I'd put it on the heavy-duty hi-start and give
- it about 10lbs of pull (I think - I have a bad arm for estimating forces) and
- let 'er rip! The wings would flex alarmingly, it would make a sort of moaning
- howling sound but never did fold its wings.

- And then I was at this contest in which I saw 4 planes fold wings. All on the
- winch, near the end of the day as people got desperate when the lift started to
- wane and the wind started to pick up. Luckily I was well out of the running by
- then, and didn't feel like tempting the wind gods. That was one of the few
- contests where I returned home with the same number of models I left with!
