- The theory is: People throw NiCads out with the rubish and the cells corrode on the
- tip and Cadmium leaches into the water table. If you visit the library and look up
- Cadmium in the books on health and safety you find Cadmium poisining leads to a
- horrible death.

- I am extremely careful with my nicads and if I ever have the misfortune to blow
- one up in my workshop I will shut the door and call the fire brigade. I expect
- they would treat my workshop as if it were lined with blue asbestos dust.
