  13. Sounds right to me.  I had to have the balancer rebuilt on my '68
  14. Mustang 289 when I was rebuilding the engine at 110,000.  The 
  15. rubber was cracked and brittle.  Looked like a shot door weather-
  16. strip.  Yes, they can wear out.
