  14. The car I own is a 1970 FIAT 124 Spider.  The manual states that
  15. premium gasoline should be used.  I know in 1970 premium gasoline
  16. had lead in it, but the only fuel available now is unleaded.

  18. I guess my questions are something like this:

  20.     What is the difference between leaded and unleaded fuel, and
  21.     what purpose does (did) the lead serve?

  23.     Does my engine care whether or not the lead is there?

  25.     If I need to use a lead additive, which brand is good, or
  26.     what specifically should I look for?
