  11. I have several friends with '72-'78 Trans Ams with 400's and 455's.  
  12. Several are running headers.  Be sure to put a heat shield between 
  13. the headers and the starter.  The starter will heat up during high-
  14. speed runs and moderate load situations.  Then you won't get the car 
  15. started again for a while (till it cools down).

  17. Header installation I do not believe was a problem in any case.
