- I have several friends with '72-'78 Trans Ams with 400's and 455's.
- Several are running headers. Be sure to put a heat shield between
- the headers and the starter. The starter will heat up during high-
- speed runs and moderate load situations. Then you won't get the car
- started again for a while (till it cools down).
