  21. Aaaaaahhhh yessssss.  I remember this one, and I now know how to deal
  22. with it.  Its not hard if you know the trick.

  24. There is a cutout/dent in the sheet metal of the transmission tunnel
  25. to deal with this problem.  You need a 3/8" drive flex head 9/16
  26. socket and about 20" of extension.  Slide under the driver's side
  27. door with a bright light.  Get your head back to about the middle of
  28. the driver's door, but kinda near the tranny.  Now look at the bolt.
  29. There it is, right through that slot in the sheet metal.  It may help
  30. if you illuminate the bolt head from above, too.  Slide the socket up
  31. there and crank away.

  33. I thought for a long time before I found this ( now obvious ) solution.
  34. Yes, its completely impossible to remove this bolt from above, at
  35. least with the tools I have.
