- My older brother has an '87 accord and was complaining about the
- general lack of power. I asked him about his last tune-up and
- he laughed (he's a banker, I'm the wrench in the family...)
- Anyway, I pulled the plugs and the electrode had eroded all the
- way down to the ceramic. We replaced them and the results were
- immediately noticable. It idled more smoothly and acceleration
- improved markedly. I would guess the gap had grown to about .25".
