  10. I have a 1978 Lotus with an Allison XR-700 electronic ignition which
  11. was installed long before I bought the car.  Right now, I am having a 
  12. problem with the car and there are many indications that the problem
  13. is in the electronic ignition.

  15. So, here are my questions:

  17. 1. Is there a way to check the ignition module?  
  18.  
  19. 2. Is Allison still in business?  If so, are their current models plug-
  20.    compatible with their older ones?
  21.  
  22. 3. Does anyone have manuals/schematics/anything for the Allison XR-700?
  23.  
  24. Any help would be appreciated.
