- You know, I have basically the same attitude (cheap tools are a waste of time),
- but for some reason I bought a set of cheap Taiwanese socket wrenches and I've
- been amazed at how well they've served me. I've been using them for years now,
- doing substantial work to a number of cars, and have yet to be seriously
- disappointed by them.

- I have a plastic bottle thing designed just for oil changes. On one side is
- a cover about 5" across that unscrews. You drain the oil straight into that
- hole, put the cover back on (it seals with a big O-ring), take it to a garage,
- take the cover off the little opening on the top of the jug, and pour the oil
- into their tank. It works great. I got it at K-mart for a few bucks.
-
- I always spill a little, so I put newspaper down under the jug before removing
- the oil plug.
