- You have a short. The fact that you might have some lights turned on when
- you insert a new fuse should not cause it to blow. There really is no
- difference between switching the current to the lights with (say) the door
- light switch and switching the current by inserting the fuse.

- I assume that the vanity light is on the visor, and the trunk light is
- on the trunk lid. Since both of these move, I would start there looking
- for damaged insulation on the wires to the lights.
