  13. I would just change the bulbs and install a heavy-duty flasher relay.
  14. I know that the bulbs may not be the problem, if they are, swapping
  15. them out for new ones will only cost about $3 and take about 1/2 hour 
  16. of your time.

  18. I had a similar problem when I hooked-up a trailer for the first time
  19. to my '90 S10 Blazer, yet the problem affected both right and left
  20. turn signals.  It seamed that the standard flasher relay was not 
  21. sufficient to handle the extra load required to operate the turn signals
  22. on the trailer.  After explaining this problem to the U-Haul people,
  23. they recommended swapping in a "Heavy-Duty" flasher relay.  I did.
  24. It cost about $3 to $4 (it was cheap), and it worked.
