  13. In my 1985, Olds '98 the brake light does not work all the time. The
  14. major symptoms are as below:
  15.  
  16. (1) Out of three (two on left and right tails and one in the centre on
  17. the back board) the center one is always working. Two on tails used to
  18. work sometimes, but these days they do not work). I have put all four
  19. new bulbs.
  20.  
  21. (2) When I switch-on the headlight or park-light all four tail bulbs
  22. are working all right, however, with foot brake pedal depressed the
  23. second filament of the bulbs (responsible for brake light) does not
  24. light up.

  26. (3) The contacts checked indicate the current is flowing all-right.
