  16. My friend has a 91 Toyota Corolla which has developed this problem.
  17. When the door is closed there is a rubber lining which helps in making
  18. the seal. Once he accidently developed a crack (cut) in this lining.
  19. This causes a problem in the sound insulation and therefore needs to
  20. be fixed. I thought that just putting some tape on the lining might be
  21. a better (more cost effective) soln than replacing the lining. What do
  22. you guys think? What sort of tape should he use?
